Best Dressed: 2014 Met Gala

She Said:

Sarah Jessica Parker in Oscar de la Renta

I love Sarah Jessica Parker because she loves fashion. I may not always agree with her choices, but she always commits fully to a look. This gown is gorgeous and also works perfectly with the Charles James theme of the Met Gala. Her hair is fabulous, too! When was the last time you someone rock a pair a gloves with a gown that looked that fabulous?

Rachel McAdams in Ralph Lauren Collection

I love the beautiful simplicity of this blush colored column dress. The dress is beautiful and stood out in a modern contrast to all the bustles, flounces and constructed corsets that peppered the Met Gala red carpet.

Hailee Steinfeld Prabal Gurung

This dress is a wonderful marriage of both classic cut and seeming acres of beautiful fabric with modern design details.

Tabitha Simmons in Dolce & Gabbana

This dress is amazing and my pick for best gown of the Met Gala. It truly reflects the Charles James era of couture, especially in regard to the stunning silk flowers.

 He Said:

David Beckham in Ralph Lauren Black Label

Becks looks very stylish and classy. The black tie and pants make for a good contrast to the white jacket.

Andrew Garfield in Band of Outsiders

This outfit is a great change from what else was seen at the Met Gala. It’s still stylish, but it’s not just tails and white bow tie.

Who were your red carpet favorites? Do you agree with our choices?
