I (Kari) love Dani’s Duds. It was my first kid’s consignment sale and it’s the kid’s event that I always return to. My dear friend recommended it to me and it’s a big deal in our house since I looked like this with G:
And now that I’m 24 weeks with Z and have two-and-a-half-year-old G to shop for too, I can’t wait for this year’s sale!
You can buy anything for a kid (and lots of things for a house too) at Dani’s Duds, but I wanted to show you my five favorite Dani’s purchases from the past three years. Shopping for gear is essential, but being a mom who’s very into fashion, I just LOVE the clothes shopping. The racks are always well stocked and I never leave empty-handed. I’ve scored some amazing purchases.
The Gap Rainbow Footie Sleeper
He is my rainbow baby and he loved this sleeper so much! It caught my eye from the second I saw it’s cheery stripes. We were all sad when he outgrew it.
My Black Maternity Coat
I wore this when I was pregnant with G and I have worn it while I was pregnant. (It was $5) You can bet I’ll be checking out the maternity racks again since I’m getting bigger and bigger as this pregnancy progresses!
The Cutest Eric Carlyle Pajamas
G loved these pjs because they were so soft and he loves lions. I only paid $4 for them and he seriously wore (at least the pants) twice a week for a year.
The Most Precious Sailor Suit Ever!
Seriously! Isn’t this the cutest thing that you’ve ever seen?! I always dreamed that I would be able to dress my little boy like Prince George. (Because Prince George has definitely inherited his mother’s good fashion taste, or at least she’s helping him for now.) This was $4 and it almost fits. Prepare for me to be a very weepy mommy when I finally see my little man in this outfit.
This Adorable Kenneth Cole Dressy Outfit
I paid $9 for this shirt, pants and bow tie. Everyone said G looked like a little doll and he did. Kids dressy clothes are so expensive and Dani’s is a great place to get the little suits and dresses that have been gently loved, but need new homes!
Remember, to check out any of your gear needs and don’t miss the toy tables! Say hi if you me see there! I’ll be shopping for my two favorite boys!
